A one-day event still needs a complete lettering schedule. The relevant window includes ordering, checking the delivery, confirming fit, preparing the surface and completing the product's application requirements before the vehicle is presented. The time the display lasts is only one part of that schedule.
Work backward from the first required use
Record when the vehicle must be ready, including any drive to the venue or earlier photography session. Ask for the product's preparation and curing guidance, then reserve the required time before that first use. Do not invent a shorter interval because the event itself is brief.

Choose the product around the whole event
Tell the supplier whether the vehicle will be driven, remain stationary or move between several locations. Also explain whether the artwork should remain afterward. A short event does not by itself establish that a temporary display product is appropriate, and a permanent product is not automatically the best choice for a design you intend to remove immediately.
Leave room to resolve a problem
Do not plan the delivery check and application as the same last-minute task. A missing piece, an incorrect word or an unresolved fit question needs time for a response. The amount of contingency depends on the actual order and delivery arrangements; confirm those arrangements rather than relying on an old advertised estimate.
Plan the after-event decision
If the design will stay, keep the care guidance and approved artwork. If it will be removed, obtain the applicable removal instructions before selecting the product. The next design may require a fresh assessment of the remaining surface, so avoid treating removal as an invisible step between two orders.
